yes, we are crazy
We celebrated (FINALLY) closing on our house this Thursday with the fabulous Unibroue belgian-style ales toasted over the closing table with our realtor, seller, and mortgage broker. It was pretty awesome and quite a way to finish this whole fiasco.
We continued our celebration by initiating a tiny pup into our family this afternoon. Yes, friends, we are insane. Why we wanted to begin this process right after we reached the end of the most stressful time in our lives as of yet, I’m not quite sure. But going to the SPCA to waste time in an air-conditioned placed on this humid Saturday, was probably the first bad move. Mathew – of all people – was the one who first fell for Kai when we were checking out the puppies. And I, of course, quickly gave in.
Brighton has already proclaimed his undying love for her. Levi seems a little unsure about the misplaced attention this puppy is getting over him. I’m just glad to have another “girl” in the house, and one who’s housebroken at that, since we’re still working on that with B.

the boys will have so much fun with her. really, it was probably a good time to add more chaos, anything after all this will seem mild.

we’ve had our chocolate lab pup from debs, seamus o’malley, for 2 weeks now, and are totatlly in love with the li’l guy. he’s already housebroken too. what a relief!
