what is THAT?!

photo

Brighton continues to find these fascinating little things buried in our carpets. Fascinating because they are actually invisible to the human adult eye, but they are the missle-target for small babies. I think that’s why Brighton isn’t as hungry anymore. His stomach is full of fuzz and lint he’s consumed over the past 48 hours.

And for those of you who’ve emailed to try and persuade us to get a video clip up here of B cruising, it won’t be happening until you send us some money to get our camcorder fixed. Sorry.

As we wait patiently for those checks to arrive in the mail, for the time being you can enjoy the follow pics instead. If you scroll down really fast it’s almost LIKE you’re watching a video of him crawling :0)

O.K., so this is what a Texan said, “I’m gonna eat you for breakfast!” Baby love is the best…I can almost smell the baby powder!

Funny. I saw that outfit at Old Navy a couple of weeks ago, and said to myself : “I bet that is what Amy Claire would pick out for Brighton”. YOu seem to like neutral colors. Superficialities aside though, glad that you are enjoying, and making the time to enjoy your new-found ability to domesticate full-time. It is really so rewarding and encouraging of creativity. I am glad you heeded the pressure to include pictures of your life again. Peer pressure goes a long way, you know!

Love,
Maryanne

I am Amy Smith

Amy Smith and Family including Matthew, Brighton, and Levi

I’m a mother of two, wife to Matthew, daughter of the King, and fervent believer in the healing power of bluegrass music.

I now live in the great southlands, leaving behind Philadelphia, the city where Matthew and I fell in love and saw our two boys come in to the world.

Our recent move from north to south has begun the next chapter in the life of the Smith clan, possibly the most trying and difficult as of yet…learning to become true southerners.
