the festivities have begun

Our trip was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Pictures to come, but not many because we couldn’t drag ourselves out of bed, or off the rocking chairs, or into any state of “doing” when we were enjoying just “being” so very much.

The parents have arrived. We celebrated by standing in the freezing cold a block from our house in order to catch the free trolley that circuits the downtown last night.

I’d like to say it was worth it. But I won’t comment. We almost gave up. Dad and Matthew went to retrieve our cars and pulled up as the trolley was doing the same.

Brighton was then a happy camper.

While we waited, he had huddled in the stroller, while Levi roamed the street brushing his teeth.

We then rode to Barleys for pizza, then back home again. The things I never thought I’d put myself through – which completely change when you have big doe eyes pleading up at you – like agreeing to stand out in the frigid cold for a 5 minute ride on a decorated, souped-up bus/trolley.

More pictures than you care to take in are on the photos page to enjoy.

Hope you all are having a sweet Christmas week yourselves!
