Yes, the boys get a whole 48 hours free from their parents starting tomorrow evening. 48 hours of cake for breakfast, late night ice cream runs, and general spoiledness all around. If their aunt Diggy and my parents have anything to do with it :)
While Matthew and I will be belting our own Freedom Cry as we pack our car and head up to the snowy, cozy mountains of Asheville. We have been squirreling away our funds since year one of marriage for our 5th, coming up in January. So we are spoiling ourselves at an amazing B&B up in the mountains and a full day at the Grove Park Spa .
But before you get all jealous and such, let’s just take a brief trip down the blog memory lane and remember just what a HELLACIOUS year it has been for us, people!! There has been a lot of craziness and insanity. We are both in major need of some rest and chill time. Both together and alone. With the hopes that we will return to our kiddos and life a little more refreshed and ready to face 2009. Maybe I’ll even start blogging again :)

That place looks rad. Wow, has it been five years? I remember meeting you two as the newlyweds! You guys HAVE had a crazy year…probably more than we know. You know what though, the lack of your blogging is probably making the rest of us non-bloggers feel more normal! I don’t know how you have time for any more! We love you, Smiths.
