happy anniversary to me

Today is our 4th. I am a lucky girl. Married to not only an insanely creative and talented web-savy man (with insanely creative and generous web friends), but an incredibly sweet one at that. Check out my all-time favorite anniversary gift thus far at Good Morning Marriage.

For now it’s simply a slide show of various moments in our first four years together – a few very scary ones, a few of our parents and grandparents, maybe one or two of our offspring. A few of my favorites include being pregnant with Levi on the London bridge last Christmas. Our moving pictures in Ginny’s basement. The Pioneer Motel one that we had to crash at during the torrential downpour on our cross-country drive from Colorado. And most definitely the rainbow as we left Fort Collins.

Matthew’s hoping to turn it into our own version of Spouse Notes where we can converse back and forth on marriage and the partnership of slugging through this often chaotic and stressful life together.

We celebrated this year with our first night away from the kids thanks to my brave sister, who took care of the boys through the night after Mom came down with a sinus infection. I don’t think she is going to have any children in the future after that night. So today will be more chill. Enjoying marriage the way we normally do. Through the craziness of every day living.
