Grace in Small Things: Part 22 of 365

1. Warm french-pressed coffee awaiting me in a thermos this morning at 8am, made by Matthew already gone to work at 6am.

2. Lunch with my little sister and hanging out on the lawn afterwards in this gorgeous 51 degree sunshine.

3. Hearing my favorite Sally Jaye tune twice in one day on the radio (thank you, WNCW)

4. Overhearing B playing his xylophone and singing “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” during his (supposed) nap time…then 5 minutes later screaming “I AM THE BAD ENEMY MAN IN YOUR BAD DREAM” while playing with his soldier men.

5. Getting to spend an evening alone with Matthew. No plans. No to-do’s. Just a movie, some good food, and a fire.
