Grace in Small Things: Part 1 of 365

Life has been pretty fast-paced with this new year’s change working more hours at Squared Eye, Matthew’s design firm, in the afternoons. Any free time I have leftover I either spend curled up by the fire with a book or out with friends. Unfortunately, ‘ol Minismith has taken a hit because of it.

In order to keep things alive, I’m going to take up the “Grace in Small Things” posting idea that one of my favorite mom-bloggers, Sarah from Whoorl, has partaken of (from Schmutzie’s original call to arms).

So I can keep it short and simple until my writing-brain-power has returned.

Here we go. For today, Grace in Small Things, Part 1:

1. Pushing down the french press knowing you’re 10 seconds away from being a sane person again.

2. A heated yoga classroom at 6am after walking through 11 degree weather to get there.

3. The way the boys giggled watching Totoro this morning.

4. Being able to take an extra long shower uninterrupted thanks to #3.

5. Finally returning to minismith after a good long while.

Wage a battle against embitterment and take part in 365 days of Grace in Small Things

Totally with you on #2. :) I’d like to add that it made it even better to be there with friends!
