I know, I know, I’ve been lax about snapping shots lately and getting them up on the site. Blaim it on the work crunch and any other good excuse you can think up for me. Here are some random shots of life in the Smith household these days…

The crawling fiend is threatening to perfect his hand/knee coordination and begin reeking havoc on our very non-baby-proofed home

Triathlon training has begun in full force. As well as our new chore chart…almost MORE exciting for the organizer in me :0)

Spring has sprung here in our little neighborhood. A few flowers outside our neighborhood co-op.

My own “art project”...ha, ha. Or boredom one night after Matthew refused to play cards with these odd surf-board-shaped playing cards…so I decided to make wall art out of them while he grabbed a midnight snack.

We made the plunge and finally tried that Israeli couscous we bought over a year ago. Our conclusion: With the same consistancy of gummy lifesavers and none of the flavor, it was not going to be a favorite. But the roasted veggies were scarfed down.

And lastly, the boy. In all his goofy glory. He was exploring my new wiffle ball bat I got for my birthday from my sister. Our family grew up playing weekly Sunday afternoon wiffle ball games in our backyard. We managed to make some great memories amidst the sibling feuds, the bruised knees, and the scraped foreheads from running into “first base” (which was a pine tree).

How do you WORK this thing?!

Maybe if I just lift it up and swing it around…

Uuu, heh, heh…I think somebody broke that vase over there. It’s probably that OTHER baby that lives in this house, right?
