counting his loot
Little does he know his stash would be trashed the next morning. Thankfully we didn’t go to enough houses for me to feel guilty about tossing the handful of gobstoppers, taffy and otherwise inappropriate-for-a-two-year-old candy we had collected. And amazingly enough there has been no mention of the missing candy thus far.
“Cheers, Mama!” ...he has no idea how I will betray his beloved suckers once he heads to bed.
Here is the sleepy guy rising from his post-Halloween nap today. After a late night and a belly full of sugar, his nap today stretched from a wake-up time of 2:30pm to a late 4pm. Hopefully we can still get him in bed tonight.
And Levi is walking!!
No, not really. But he is crawling. My sister jokingly rebuked me for how little I share about Levi’s life. After spending all last year obsessively detailing Brighton’s every move, I guess anything will seem like a step back. That’s the benefit of the first child…what else did I have to do besides comment on every new fingernail and stream of drool he produced? Levi is not nearly as documented, which is probably a good thing for all involved. Except for those of you dying to know what his latest diaper contained. And for those readers, sorry to disappoint.

I just found my Olivia journal and felt really bad that other than his birth, I have no Nigel stories written down yet. Glad to know Nigel’s not the only one ;)

Love you and miss you friend! The boys are adorable, and I loved their costumes. You’re looking great yourself too! Wish we could meet for coffee :). Brian and I just went to the Starbucks near our house last night, and we parked right in front of where we chatted about you all moving. Good times! Praying for you all daily.

Amy Claire-
Sweet little boys. I love how you are the boy-Mom, but so feminine in dress and style. I honestly think that is such a good thing for your boys to see. You play rocks and dirt, but definitely show them beauty in appearance….just some thoughts I wanted to jot down they came to mind. Beautiful little family:)
