charleston
For 10 glorious months, I lived in one of the most beautiful parts of our country…at least in my opinion. The ideal college town. Beaches, beautiful weather, historic town and all. My freshman year I attended the College of Charleston until I transferred to Covenant College which couldn’t have been more different in every way. A switch that was hard initially, but one I came to be thankful for.
At the end of the month, my sister, Callie, is heading down south to start her new life in Charleston after graduating from the University of Virginia. So far she has an apartment and a few job possibilities, but nothing set in stone. So I’m calling all Charlestonians!! who might know of anyone in need of a smart UVA grad that would love to have more than just “job possibilities” and have an actual job :) If you know of anything, send me an email and I can get you in touch with the lady herself.
As for the latest with the Smith clan, Brighton has taken to being 1 year old quite well and seems to be enjoying his new distinguished stature in society. Matthew heads home from an incredible time in London tomorrow, so keep him in your prayers as he flies back across the Atlantic. Then B & I will be flying back to Philly from Charlottesville on Sunday to reunite the Smith family, who will hopefully be staying put until we head to New Mexico in November. Ahh, 3 months sans travel. Sounds heavenly to me. And finally, in week 14 of this pregnancy, baby #2 is still causing his/her momma to dread the daily task of eating due to an unruly stomach, but hopefully the drama will end soon as we start week 15 here in a few days. 15 weeks, yeesh, these second pregnancies fly by!

Hey! That is so cool that Callie is moving down our way. Although I dont specifically know of job possibilities or what she is looking for, we do go to a great church (with other people who might know something) and would love to have Callie visit and stay with us if she comes down to job hunt. You can give her my email and please let me know what else I can do to help!
