change of scenery...
...you know you need one when you spend the morning drawing faces on your belly buttons and playing dodgeball with Levi’s wet, balled up diapers. This is how Brighton and I passed the morning hours. Matthew is home working today and couldn’t resist capturing the artwork when Brighton gleefully ran in to show his Papa his “bell-butt”, as he calls it. He’s been wanting to keep his shirt up all morning.
Thankfully a change of scenery is coming in the form of two Colorado grandparents. Matthew’s folks are arriving this evening to spend the weekend enjoying their grandsons…and maybe their son and daughter-in-law a little bit too :)
A parting shot for the day – the boys chillin together in bed, working on that brother bond thing. If only they weren’t simply role-playing and those little eyes were actually closed and offering their mom some much needed rest. Ah well, there’s always time to sleep 20 years from now.

You did NOT just have a baby! You make me sick :) I think your Brighton is the one who’s pregnant. Cute little baby boy pot bellies. I want one…a boy…not a belly. Missing you out here!! Wish we could meet your two babes! – Rach
