and the winner is...
...#7 Julie from The Hamill Home! Congrats Julie! Email me your address and I’ll put your book in the mail!
Julie shared the following, “I’ll go with the creative memory from my childhood as recent attempts to do creative stuff with my children haven’t gone so well (eating paper gingerbread men, turning the would-be garland string into power lines)....I remember making a felt snowman in probably the 2nd or 3rd grade, decorating it with ribbons and scrap fabric. I know it’s hiding in my parent’s house and hope to find it one day. I realize now that the clothing was very much inspired by Richard Scarry’s Busytown world.”
I LOVED all your great memories and current activities. What creative ladies! Why do you even need this book
And sorry for the delay in getting word out on the winner. It has been a rough, rough day, void of any creativity or warm fuzzies. My foul mood had left me with just enough energy to survive the day, but not much else. Matthew ignored my unbearable countenance and sacrificially snuck home at lunch to give me a totally undeserved 30 minute run so I could attempt to de-stress. Which is probably why I’m even here writing this and not off in Bermuda. That and the fact that my parents have just arrived in Charlotte from London and are on their way to our house as I write! Can’t wait to have them for 10 whole days.
Thanks for everyone’s participation!
