About
“As they pass through the Valley of Baka (weeping),
they make it a place of springs,
the autumn rain also covers it with pools.
They go from strength to strength,
till each appears before God in Zion.”
~ Psalm 84:6-7
Our family has been passing through, what has felt like, the Valley of Weeping time and again over the past few years. Yet through it all, our souls have begun to untether from this life and be bound to the One who remains faithful despite the inevitable brokenness of this fallen world.
He is teaching us the paradox of making the desert a place of springs. He is the Living Water that quenches our parched throats.
He is leading us from strength to strength. Under His wings alone do our weary souls find restoration.
And one day we will see, face to face, this Man whose heart has burned for us, whose kindness has shaped us, whose tenderness has upheld us…and from that moment on, we will be overtaken by Joy.
“They will enter Zion with singing;
everlasting joy will crown their heads.
Gladness and joy will overtake them,
and sorrow and sighing will flee away.”
~ Isaiah 35:10
