First smiles

Making a place of springs. I don't do pain well. But lately the brokenness of life has been brutal and my old vices just haven't cut it. Pain or no pain are not my options. The desert is what I have been given.

And the desert is where I have learned to lean. On the One who is the Living Water. On the One who faithfully and gently leads me in the desert. He is teaching me to make these Valleys of Weeping into places of springs where He alone can quench my thirst and heal the wounds this life will bring...
